Basikol - 90 Caps

Item Description

Arkopharma Basikol ® Capsules a natural way to help lower elevated cholesterol levels. Basikol ® Capsules contain phytosterols (plant sterols) which when used according to directions, assist with managing the daily in-take of dietary cholesterol. Plant sterols are also used in cholesterol lowering margarines however the availability of plant sterols in Basikol ® Capsules avoids the in-take of margarine.

More than 40 years of clinical research have determined that plant sterols are effective in lowering cholesterol. Clinical data suggests that 800mg of natural plant sterols may lead to a significant reduction in total cholesterol and LDL (bad) cholesterol levels of around 10% to 14% respectively

Basikol ® Capsules work by inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol in the intestine.

What is in it?
200mg natural plant sterols per capsule
2.5mg of natural Vitamin E

Easy to swallow capsules taken with meals provides an easy to remember regime to assist with maintaining healthy cholesterol levels.

Precautions, Contraindications and Side Effects
No statistically significant side effects have been recorded during the decades of studies devoted to the effects of phytosterols.

Not indicated for use with children.
