Thompson’s Fat Blocker is a natural product that can help to reduce fat absorption in the body. Fat Blocker contains extra strength 500mg Chitosan (pronounced kite-o-san). Chitosan is an aminopolysaccharide derived from ‘chitin’ found in plankton and the exoskeleton (shells) of crustaceans such as shrimp, lobster and crab. Chitosan is processed to create a fibre with a magnetic binding affinity for fat, triglycerides and cholesterol in the digestive tract. This binding occurs when positively charged Chitosan binds with negatively charged fat and bile acids. The binding of these fat and cholesterol molecules to Chitosan prevents them from being absorbed into the bloodstream, allowing them to be eliminated via the bowel. Numerous studies show that Chitosan has many health benefits:

Absorbs and binds up fat, carrying it through the intestinal tract and out of the body

Direction for use

Contraindications
Fat Blocker should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding or by those with shellfish sensitivities and those taking fat-soluble medications.
