Chamomile 300mg - 100 capsules

Item Description

Chamomile exerts an influence on both the nervous system and the gastrointestinal system.

There is evidence of Chamomile being used throughout history, including the Greek physician Dioscorides, the Roman naturalist Pliny and Ayurvedic physicians. The flower heads are used in medicinal preparations, herbal beverages and cosmetics while the essential oil is used in perfumes.

Today Chamomile is a well used herb and is largely consumed as a tea. It is a gentle herb that can be used by both adults and children.

Therapeutic Use:
Traditionally used in Western Herbal Medicine as a ‘calming’ herb for nervous indigestion and associated symptoms such as bloating, impaired digestion and flatulence (wind).

Active Ingredient:
Each ‘preservative free’ capsule contains 300mg of Matricaria recutita flower powder.

Dosage:
For adults: take three to four capsules with a meal three times daily.
Children age 6-12 years: take 1-2 capsules with a meal three times daily.

Capsules may be opened for use as a tea.

Free of yeast, added sugars, lactose, gluten, starch, artificial colourings and flavourings, or preservatives.
