Item Description

The liver performs over 500 different functions in the body, including breaking down poisonous chemicals that are introduced into the body, as well as converting glucose to glycogen to be stored in the liver for later use, maintaining protein levels in the body and secreting bile.

The main herb in Liv-Pro is St Mary’s Thistle, sometimes known as ‘the Liver Herb’. It helps to support the liver against substances such as toxins, alcohol, aspirin and other medications and drugs.

St Mary’s Thistle is supported by Dandelion and other nutrients that provide assistance to the liver. It is best used to tonify the liver in situations where a slow and gentle approach is not appropriate or when a more intense liver cleanse is required.

Therapeutic Use
A liver tonic. St Mary’s Thistle has traditionally been used in Western Herbal Medicine to support liver detoxification and to help maintain healthy and normal liver function. The additional ingredients are included to further contribute to the therapeutic action of the St Mary’s Thistle.

Active Ingredients
Each tablet contains:
Extract equivalent dry Silybum marianum (St Mary’s Thistle) fruit 6.27g
Taraxacum officinalis (Dandelion) root 152mg
Betacarotene 6mg
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 239mg
Choline bitartrate 60mg
Inositol 60mg

Dosage
For adults: take two tablets with a meal twice daily.
