Item Description

MCT Oil - 500ml

MCT is metabolised quickly to provide energy (twice the caloric energy of carbohydrates). May be used in cooking but should not be used for deep frying. This product is intended for occasional use only during periods of intensive exercise, such as by triathletes, marathoners and other endurance athletes. This product is not intended as a sole source of dietary fat since it contains no essentail
fatty acids (EFA's). Failure to use with vegetable oils may result in EFA deficiency.

INGREDIENTS:
Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) are derived from Coconut Oil.
MCT consists of food grade Caprylic (C8) 65% - 75% and Capric (C10) 25% - 35% acids with less than 0.5% C6 and less than 1% C12 esterified to pure glycerin

DOSE:
Take one teaspoon per day and gradually increase to 1 to 3 dessertspoons per day. This product should be taken only with food since intake on an empty stomach
can cause nausea.

WARNING:
Consult a doctor before use if you have diabetes, cirrhosis, acidosis, ketosis or
other liver problems.
