Fish Oils are rich in Omega 3 Essential Fatty acids. The body cannot manufacture Omega-3 fatty acids and must obtain them from food sources. The most important types of Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil are Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). The body needs Eicosapentaenoic acid to produce prostaglandins, which are hormone-like substances that help to protect the heart and cell membranes. Docosahexaenoic acid is required for the normal development of the brain, the eyes, and the reproductive system. Herb Valley Omega 3 Natural Fish Oil is derived from the body of Peruvian Anchoveta (a species of open sea fish), Pacific Chub Mackerel and Sardine (Pilchardus walbaum).

Natural Fish Oil 1000mg
Equivalent to:
Eicosapentaenoic Acid 180mg
Docosahexaenoic Acid 120mg

DOSE:
Adults and Children over 12 years - Take one capsule, three times a day with food.
