All bodily processes depend upon the presence of minerals. According to Dr Linus Pauling, winner of two Nobel Prizes for his scientific achievements, “You can trace every sickness, every disease and every ailment to a mineral deficiency”. There are close to 30 minerals and trace elements found in the human body, all of which are vital to maintaining the health of our heart, nerves, muscles, hair, bones, blood and brains.

Because of food processing and preparation practices many of our foods today are deficient in essential elements. Studies show, for instance, that as much as 80% of Chromium is removed during food processing. Our soils are low in a number of minerals and trace elements, notably Magnesium, Selenium and Chromium, and these are consequently at low levels in our foods.

Thompson’s Organic Multi-Minerals features a high potency complex of the most important macro minerals and trace elements. Only organically bound minerals (chelates) are included in this comprehensive formula. Organic minerals are presented to the body in a form that can be more readily absorbed, thus, increasing bioavailability.

Calcium, Iron, Zinc and Magnesium are necessary additions to any good Multi-Mineral formulation. Thompson’s Organic Multi-Minerals also includes Selenium and Chromium, which are deficient in Australasia soils. Further to this are added Copper, which has a role in red blood cell formation, Potassium which helps to balance body fluids, Manganese for its role in metabolism of food, and Silica, a major constituent of collagen. The natural base of Kelp has the added benefit of supplying the essential trace element Iodine.

Direction for use
Adults - One tablet morning and night (with food), or as professionally prescribed.

Indications for Use
Signs of common mineral deficiencies include forgetfulness, fatigue, lack of incentive, lacklustre skin and hair, irritability, short temper, nervous tension, depression and lethargy. By taking daily a Thompson’s Organic Multi-Minerals such symptoms can be avoided and signs of deficiency can also be reversed.

Those who may especially require supplementation, to avoid a mineral deficiency, include those on restricted diets, often young women, who may not eat red meat or dairy products. Also, strict vegetarians can ensure adequate daily intake of minerals through supplementation with Thompson’s Organic Multi-Minerals, as can those whose diet comprises largely refined or pre-packaged foods.
