Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a disorder that can affect women one to two weeks prior to the onset of menses. An estimated fifty- percent of menstruating women suffer the monthly stress of PMS. Thompson’s Exclusively Women’s PMT Support is formulated to supply the correct balance of nutrients to help ease the problems associated with menstruation. Vitamin B6 and magnesium are noted for their ability to reduce abdominal bloating and fluid retention, cramping and mood swings. Studies have shown that Vitamin E helps to reduce breast tenderness. Hypoglycaemia tends to get worse around this time so the trace mineral Chromium has been added to help regulate blood sugar levels.

Research has shown that Evening Primrose Oil is a good source of the omega 6 fatty acid called Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which can relieve many pre-menstrual symptoms. The other valuable herb in this formula is Vitex Agnus-castus or Chastetree, which works to balance pituitary gland function, therefore helping to regulate the output of female hormones. Vitex is traditionally used to correct hormonal imbalances that may result in premenstrual syndrome.

Direction for use
Adults - take 1 capsule daily, increasing to 2 capsules daily 15 days prior to the onset of menstruation.

Indications for Use
Exclusively Women’s PMT Support is specifically formulated to ease the problems associated with menstruation. PMT Support may help relieve anxiety, depression and mood swings, abdominal cramps, fluid retention and breast pain. PMT Support may also prove useful for headaches, insomnia, fatigue and dizziness related to hormonal fluctuations.

PMT Support may be used in conjunction with Exclusively Women’s Femmefort during the pre-menstrual phase.
