Thompson’s Restful Sleep comprises six sedating herbs in an extremely effective formula, that offers a reliable, non-habit forming solution to disturbed sleep patterns. Because Restful Sleep contains only natural herb components, it is free from any side effects that often accompany the use of drug-based alternatives.

Thompson’s Restful Sleep contains Valerian, which is one of the most effective and widely used sedative herbs, with a remarkable calming effect on the nerves. Valerian acts as a relaxant and is commonly used in cases of insomnia. Similarly, Scullcap is a potent nerve tonic that has sedative and anti-convulsive actions. Added to these are Passiflora, traditionally used for its sedative properties and specifically indicated for insomnia, Chamomile, which is included for its ability to promote a sound natural sleep, while Hops is specifically indicated in restlessness associated with nervous tension. Finally, Wild Lettuce is specifically used in cases of sleeplessness and combines particularly well with Hops and Scullcap.

The comprehensive formulation of Thompson’s Restful Sleep supplies the six most appropriate herbs for promotion of a good night’s sleep. Restful Sleep acts not only as a calming agent, to soothe nervous conditions and muscle cramps, all of which inhibit an adequate nights sleep, but also supplies herbs specifically indicated in insomnia, which can actively promote a good nights sleep.

Direction for use
Adults - One to two tablets (one hour before bed), or as professionally prescribed.

Indications for Use
Thompson’s Restful Sleep is indicated for anyone suffering from muscle pains or cramps, or restlessness associated with nervous tension which can result in a disturbed sleeping pattern, exhaustion or insomnia. As a combination of six traditionally used sedative herbs, Thompson’s Restful Sleep can help to reduce nervous activity, reduce mental stress and actively promote a good night’s sleep. Thompson’s Restful Sleep is recommended for anxiety, irritability, aches and pains and general neuralgic conditions which contribute to lack of sleep.

Contraindications
Due to the lack of available safety data regarding the use of a number of herbs in pregnancy we generally do not recommend this product to be taken while pregnant, unless professionally prescribed. Use is inadvisable in depression.
