Rosewood Oil - 13ml





Item Description

What it does:

Rosewood is a clearing and centring oil. It has a particular affinity with the skin, it has a mild action being both tonic and balancing to both oily and dry complexions. It also promotes healing of acne, cold sores and dermatitis. Use in spritzers, facial oils and facial steams. The refreshing and deodorising qualities of this oil make it a useful addition to deodorants and aftershave blends. Rosewood also lifts mood and dispels muscular tension, use it in massage blends and therapeutic baths to relieve nervous tension and stress-related conditions. A drop or two massaged into the temples and the back of the neck is also useful in the treatment of jetlag and mental exhaustion.

Aroma: sweet, woody-floral, spicy undertone. A middle note.

Blends well with: most oils – helps round off “sharp edges” in oil blends.

Caution: Do not take internally. Essential oils should always be blended with a base oil (such as sweet almond oil) before being applied to the body.
